District Administrators

Holly McClanan

Holly graduated from Elizabethtown (Ky.) High School in 1988. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Kentucky and a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law. Prior to coming to Southeastern in 2013, she served as Associate General Counsel at the Massachusetts School Building Authority. Holly is licensed as a vocational superintendent/assistant superintendent by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

MMorris

Mark graduated from Bishop Stang High School. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree and M.B.A in Finance both from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.  After 15 years in the financial sector, he joined Southeastern in 2009. Mark is certified as a School Business Administrator and Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.  He also serves on the board of Massachusetts Association of Regional Schools.  In his capacity as  Asst. Supt. of Finance & Administration, he oversees all financial aspects of the school district.

Leslie Weckesser

Leslie graduated from Bishop Stang High School in 1989. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and a Master of Education Degree from Fitchburg State College. After numerous years in the restaurant industry, she pursued a second career in education.  She worked as a substitute teacher at local vocational schools, worked as a paraprofessional at Bristol Plymouth Voc-Tech, and then as a Culinary Arts instructor at Greater New Bedford Regional High School. In addition to her role as Vocational Director, here at Southeastern for the last 11 years, she chaired the Massachusetts Vocational Directors Committee for 4 years.  Leslie has served as a facilitator for numerous curriculum revision projects state wide, started new vocational programs at Southeastern, and worked on several Department of Elementary and Secondary Education focus groups to advocate for vocational education. She was appointed as Principal on July 1, 2019.

Patricia Illsley

Ms. Illsley is a graduate of Brockton High School and Massasoit Community College (AS).  She holds a BA in Business Management and a Masters of Education from Bridgewater State University.  Ms. Illsley began her career at Southeastern Technical Institute in 1993 as a Computer and Math teacher, was appointed to the position of Interim Director of the Technical Institute in February 2017, and Director of the Technical Institute effective July 1, 2018.

Patrick Cleary

Patrick assumed the role as Director of Information Technology on July 1st, 2015.  He has an M.B.A. and a B.S. in Management Information Systems from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.  Mr. Cleary is also licensed as a VocTech Principal/Assistant Principal through the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

RDelaleu

Rob graduated from Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College, his Master’s degree from Johnson & Wales University and is currently working on his Doctorate from Johnson & Wales. Rob joins Southeastern after serving as the Director of Multicultural Affairs and the Interim Student Affairs VP/Leadership Team Member at Bristol Community College. Rob also spent time as a Math Teaching Assistant and Assessment/Discipline Coordinator at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School.

Christina Guarini

Christina is a graduate of West Boylston High School. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Salem State College and a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Anna Maria College. She joined the administrative team at Southeastern in 2008 as the Director of Guidance. Christina has been a member of the Guidance Department and district, since 2001. She entered the field of education in 1998 as part of the Worcester Public School District in the role of Guidance Counselor/School Adjustment Counselor. She continued in a therapeutic role at the Mystic Valley Charter School. Her previous work experience, outside of education, includes individual counseling, psychoeducational group therapy, and teaching life management courses. Christina accepted the position as the Director of Student Life in 2019.

High School Administrators

JBoucher

Joanne Boucher began her career in special education in 2001 as a Speech and Language Pathologist at New Bedford Public Schools.  She also worked in the Old Rochester Regional School District.  Joanne became a Special Education Administrator in 2014.  She also held the position of Compliance Supervisor in New Bedford Public Schools and has experience supporting high school students as they transition from high school to postsecondary life.  Ms. Boucher holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Motor Development Therapy from Bridgewater State College, a Masters Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Certificates of Advanced Graduate Studies in Reading and Educational Leadership from Bridgewater State University. Ms. Boucher joined Southeastern in September 2020 as the Special Education Coordinator.

Shanna L. Howell, Ph.D., was named the Vice Principal of Student Support Services July 1, 2023 after serving as the Dean of the Bristol Community College New Bedford Campus since August of 2019. Prior to that she served in multiple roles at Colleges and Universities in both Georgia and Iowa. She also worked as a consultant for Dowling Catholic High School in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Shanna earned her Bachelor of Science in sociology at The University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Ga.; her Master of Science in adult learning and organizational performance from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and her Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.

Shanna is the Chair of the United Way of Greater New Bedford Board, a Trustee for the Turner Free Library in Randolph, and a member of the Diversity and Race Equity Advisory Council for the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton.

Mary Kobey

Mrs. Kobey is a graduate of Mansfield High School. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Bridgewater State University and a Master of Education from Fitchburg State University. After many years in the Cosmetology industry, she pursued her teaching license in Cosmetology and worked as a teacher at Southeastern Regional Vocational High School for twelve years. She accepted the Vocational Supervisor position at Southeastern in September 2018

JLussier

Jarrod is a graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Fitchburg State University. He worked as a Master Plumber for many years until deciding to make vocational education his career. Jarrod began as a permanent substitute in Southeastern’s Plumbing program in 2010 and became a Plumbing teacher in 2011. He also worked as a Materials Facilitator, an instructor in the after-school program, and a curriculum developer before being appointed as a Vocational Supervisor in 2018. Jarrod returned to Greater New Bedford in 2019 as an Academy Administrator and then Technical Institute Director. After two years, he accepted an opportunity to return to Southeastern as a Vocational Supervisor and Co-operative Education Coordinator.

Lois is a graduate of Merrimack High School, NH.  She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire.  She also holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University and a C.A.G.S in Educational Leadership from Bridgewater State University.  Prior to coming to Southeastern, Lois served as the Director of Guidance at Diman Regional High School for 12 years.  She has also held guidance counselor positions at both Diman and Farmington High School in Connecticut.  Lois is licensed as a Director of Guidance by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary Education.  Lois joined Southeastern as the Director of Guidance in August of 2023.

Joanne is a graduate of Brockton High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts in History from Bridgewater State College. Before coming to Southeastern, Joanne taught at both Brockton High and South Junior High Schools and held several private industry management positions. However, she missed the students and the field of education. She joined Southeastern in 2004 and worked as a math teacher, a Meetings and Materials Facilitator and the Math Chairperson before becoming an Academic Supervisor in September 2020.

C.Trinh

Courtney began her career at Southeastern in 2004, teaching English for 16 years. In addition to working as the English department’s facilitator and chair for 11 years, she also served as a supervising practitioner for 14 student teachers from Bridgewater State University and as the school’s Advanced Placement Coordinator for three years. Courtney received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Northeastern University, her Master of Education in Secondary Education from UMass Boston, and her Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Bridgewater State University. She became an Academic Supervisor in September 2020.

Dan Tripp

Dan is a 1986 graduate of Taunton High School. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Plymouth (NH) State College and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Bridgewater State College. Dan taught mathematics at his alma mater until 2009 when he joined Southeastern as a Mathematics Teacher and the Athletic Director. In September 2011, Dan accepted the position of Supervisor of Athletics, Intramurals, Physical Education, Health and Student Activities.

ctuccinardi

Catherine (Catie) Tuccinardi attended Bridgewater State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Secondary Education (2005), a Master of Arts in English (2009), and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Leadership (2013). In 2005, she began her teaching career as an English teacher at Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School, where she taught a wide array of courses, including initiating Advanced Placement coursework, and served as the Lead English teacher from 2008 to 2018. Catie also led numerous committees, community service projects, extracurricular activities, and integration initiatives. Her first administrative position came in 2018, when she took on the role of Academic Coordinator at Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School. In addition to leading academic programming, Catie has worked in various roles in the vocational framework revision process, and also works with the Massachusetts Association of Vocational Administrators to prepare vocational teachers and aspiring vocational teachers for their licensure testing. Catie joined Southeastern in September of 2021 as the Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment.
