Latinx Heritage Month

Today, in celebration of Latinx Heritage Month, we’re honoring the story of Dr. Helen Rodríguez-Trías, a doctor and activist who played a pivotal role in the women’s health movement by advocating for the rights and freedoms of Latina women and other marginalized communities throughout her career.  Dr. Rodríguez-Trías was also the first Latina leader of the American Public Health Association.
