Mohammad Sengaba is recognized as a Class of 2023 Senior in the Spotlight.

Sengaba is a senior in the Medical Assisting vocational program. He chose to follow Medical Assisting at Southeastern because he wanted to contribute to helping people. Sengaba appreciated the opportunity to work in a medical clinic, where he contributed first-hand to people’s care.

His favorite experience in the vocational program was every opportunity he was given to help someone in some way.

While at Southeastern, he was a member of the soccer team and acquired a co-op position at Brigham and Women’s in Foxborough.

Following graduation, he plans to attend the University of Massachusetts Amherst to major in biology on a pre-med track.

His advice to freshmen is: “Take everything you learn, both at school and outside of school, as a valuable experience. Learn from anything and everything. The more you know, the better prepared you will be for life in general.”

Southeastern’s Senior Spotlight honorees are chosen based on their high academic and vocational achievement. Seniors are selected from each of the nine towns Southeastern serves and are highlighted prior to graduation, which will be held this year on June 7.
