Brendan Derry is recognized as a Class of 2023 Senior in the Spotlight.

Derry is a senior in the Electrical vocational program. His favorite experience in the program was spending multiple days working on a project and having it all come together successfully.

While at Southeastern, Derry acquired a position at Jacqueline Electric and Contracting, Inc., in South Easton. Following graduation, he plans to work full-time and acquire his journeyman’s electrical license.

His advice to freshmen is: “Don’t force anything, it will all work out. It may take some time to find where you fit in.”

Southeastern’s Senior Spotlight honorees are chosen based on their high academic and vocational achievement. Seniors are selected from each of the nine towns Southeastern serves and are highlighted prior to graduation, which will be held this year on June 7.
