Track & Field
Congratulations to the following Track and Field athletes who competed at the Division 3 State Championship meet yesterday at Merrimack College: Gabe Etim, Ollie Akinwunmi, Romani Alicea, James Cordon, Gouabi Pires, Kevin Opolu, Alex Longacre, Josiah McBride-Bey, MaCayla Middleton, and Maya Robinson.
The following athletes received medals in their events:
Gouabi Pires, Josiah McBride-Bey, Alex Longacre, and Kevin Opoku – 7th in the 4 x 100 meter relay
Kevin Opoku – 2nd in the 100 meter
Maya Robinson – 3rd in the shotput
MaCayla Middleton – 6th in the javelin
Romani Alicea – 1st in the triple jump
Kevin Opoku, Romani Alicea, and Maya Robinson will be moving on to All States this Saturday at Westfield State due to placing in the top three in their event.
Attention seniors – you must return or pay for all library books before you receive your cap and gown for graduation. Please check with Mrs. Meade in the library if you have any questions.
Seniors – Please pay for your cap and gown before Friday. See Ms. Cruz in the main office.
