Morning Announcements 5/21/19

There will be a student athletic advisory board meeting at 7:30 a.m. in Ms. Manigan’s classroom, room 2-216 on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.

The Hawks Varsity Baseball team defeated Westport 15-8 yesterday.  Powering the offense was Dylan Loring (three hits, three RBI), Teigan Mitchell (two hits, two RBI), Tommy Jasmin (two hits), Kyle Major (two hits), Manny Martins (two hits, one RBI), and Griffen Bethune (two hits, two RBI).  The Hawks Varsity Baseball team has won four games in a row and can clinch a tournament berth in the postseason with a win today vs. Westport at home.  Come out and support your Hawks!

The Junior Varsity Baseball team defeated Westport last night by a score of 10-0.  Josh Piesco pitched the shut out in large part thanks to great infield defense that turned three double plays, led by Nolan Sturdevent and Jomar Castro.  Sam Leard was the offensive star with three hits and three runs scored.  The JV Hawks now have a record of wins with just 2 losses.  They play Westport again today here at home.

There will be a meeting for anyone interested in trying out for fall cheerleading on Wednesday, May 22 at 2:45 p.m. in Ms. Garabedian’s room 2-216.

The Boys Lacrosse team earned it’s 13th win yesterday against Bishop Connolly, 13-5.  Both Dan Munro and Shane Hanley notched hat trick games while Ryan Kinney made 12 saves in his first game in net.  Southeastern will take on Oliver Ames this Thursday across town.
